Join us for their 2nd Annual Butterfly Release Party! 

Families are invited to take part in this special experience by raising caterpillars at home and then returning to celebrate together as the butterflies take flight.

How It Works

1. Purchase Your Caterpillar Kit- DEADLINE APRIL 30TH

Butterfly caterpillar kits can be pre-purchased online or at any Timbuk Toys location. However, all kits must be picked up at either our Aspen Grove or Northfield store, since those are the two locations hosting the release event.

We will call you when the kits arrive at the store (around May 6th or 7th) to let you know they're ready. KITS MUST BE PICKED UP BY MAY 10TH.

2. Watch the Transformation

Bring your caterpillars home and observe the incredible journey of metamorphosis as they grow from tiny caterpillars into beautiful butterflies.

3. Join the Celebration

Celebrate with us during our community butterfly release! We will be hosting a release event at both Aspen Grove & Northfield.

11:00 AM – 11:30 AM

Main butterfly release around 11:15 AM

Exact outdoor release spots near each store will be shared closer to the event.

Families will gather together for a joyful moment as butterflies take flight and we celebrate nature, science, and the wonder of transformation.

Every participating child who raises and releases butterflies, will also receive a Certified Butterfly Parent Certificate after the release!

🦋 The release party is free to attend! Everyone is welcome to come watch and enjoy the celebration.

🦋 Caterpillar kits are required only for those participating in the release.
